hard drive replacement?

I want to switch out the loud and hot hard drive I have in my 4k, can I use the same kind of hard drive that is utilized for the MPC 2500? It's a laptop EIDE. I just found some 120 gig drives and they are inexpensive

Most likely it should work, but the mounting is designed for 3.5" drives so you'll have to deal with that. You should be able to get a 3.5" 120GB for much cheaper than 2.5".

with an adapter it will work just fine.


I used a 2.5 in my mpc4000. I had to buy a $3 adapter.
