loading 2000xl song into 4000

Got a 4000 on sunday from G.C and couldn't pass it up for the price.They didn't have the manual and I wanted to know if I could load a 2000xl song plus samples in to my 4000. I downloaded the manual from akaipro making a song with the 4000 is not the issue I loaded a 2k song into the 4000 but sounds were missing and the sequences were all messed up. I never updated the OS on my 2k, could that be the problem? I'm not a nubie I started in 93 on my sp1200 and got a 2k in 99.

Hi, what did you find out? Will the 4000 load your 2000XL programs and sequences comepletely or do some parameters not load?
