Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000
ByDeviantJR Sat Feb 28, 2004 10:14 pm
I own an MPC2000 with the FX chip installed and know how to use the FX on it. I'm over here with a homey, that just picked up an mpc4000. We're in the middle of making a track, and tryin to put some reverb on the snare and some other fx on the track. We don't have the book with us at the moment and neither of us can figure out how to add the FX to individual sounds. Any help or a little walkthrough would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks for the help. I got it now by going through program mode.

I was originally trying by going through the mixer screen, like you would on the MPC2000. So now, messing with the mixer screen and automating volume and pan changes, I'm guessing you'd have to split the sounds into zones, and set the zones to mixer channels?
