Im not saying to charge money though... Im just saying that you gotta see the pros and cons to giving out a free mixtape thats just been burned on a TDK CD-R and a empty jewel case OR giving out a free mixtape with a decent looking label and a jewel case with some glossy artwork.

I dont know from your experiences but I have gotten free music from artist in the very same position you and me are in. Just looking for exposer right... When dude comes up to me with a plain sleeve and a CD-R with sharpie labeling and hands it to me for free I dont listen to it fully... I skim through that sh1t. His first impression was sloppy so most likely dudes work is sloppy aswell. Atleast thats what goes through my head.

When I get a free mixtape that looks legit I give it more of a chance.

Just put yourself in those shoes as the reciever of this mixtape. Like fam said earlier...
"think about what you would want to hear from someone else's mixtape"
And the same goes for packaging.
