Paper sleeve or Slim case

the slim, see thru plastic case is always better looking than a plain white sleeve... to me

i would much rather use the paper sleeves. it makes it look like u are tryin to do ur thing by any means posible, but the slim cases to me say that , ur tryin hard to make it look like ur are legit even though ur not mainstream. if ur submitting to labels then yeah use the slim cases, but if ur just handing out at ur local malls or gas stations, i would just use the paper sleeves...more cost effecting and cover more ground that way.

Judging from your choices, you probably arn't selling in stores. I personally love professionally printed sleaves. It has the same amount of room for graphics, no extra packaging you don't want. I think it actually looks better. I had a project at work, going through a bunch of packaging choices for a project. Although what we were doing was deeper than this, i found alot of companies are even moving to paper only packaging.

Paper sleves all the way, just make sure it's a legit company, full color printing on both sides etc. Another advantage is that if you want to give out free ones at places to just get people to hear on the side, they will be far more willing to keep pile of paper sleaves in a store than actual cd cases too.

I didn't know you were thinking of the white sleves with a window, i don't know if i would buy that lol. What i posted is what i pictured.

Yeah, Talont... thats pretty nice there.... but im sure that price is probably higher then what they were looking at for even just the Slim Jewel Case. But i could be wrong, you can always do your research.... somebody might be on ebay doing an auction for a service like this ebay's got everything on it, almost

paper sleeve and print out stickers for it. make the stickers look sweet and it'll be cheap and fly.

For a promotional release I think paper is fine.....Try to get it done on recycled and go green

if you use diskfaktory, and you want them to actually burn the audio as well, make sure there are NO samples on your master. they will rob you, like they did to me.


besides that i think paper sleeves are a good option man. Im considering using them for my next release
