the homie we been doing an EP for is from Detroit and his dad is a famous soul singer (I wont say who for now) and we sampled one of his dads hit song that got a grammy way back when and he was shopping it off to promotion/distribution and they were giving him all this grief about clearing the song and how they would never take it and it was like bruh, thats my dad and he loved it and gave us full blessing lol. They didnt know how to take that one!

But yeah **** sample clearance lol. The only time Ide **** with that is if the song pushed bucku units, ide square up with who ever on principle.
