Music Marketing

Just wondered if anyone has experience with music marketing? Either as a career or personal.

I'm studying a masters degree in marketing and hope to specialise my area in music marketing, so was wondering if anyone here on the boards has much experience to answer a few questions i have in terms of how they got into careers etc.
