I have two questions firstly, on the ascap writers app. It says you have to have made a recording commercialy. I have my own studio so does that count, and do i need to proove it or somthing

and two, I recently entered a song in a radio competiton called battle of the home jamz, if I were an ascap member would I be getting paid every time it plays. Like if the song were to win and be highly requested and played often  am I screwed?

IMO - if the app says you have to put out a song, commercially, how does that equate to you having your own studio? putting something out commercially means for the masses to hear.

As far as your other question, pick up the phone and call ASCAP. The would be able to tell you.

I'm not coming down on you, I'm just saying...
