have sold a beat? how much did you sell it for? how much did you sell your first beat for and to who? im just interested im not any....yet lol first i need my mpc holla

this is the advise i was given...

don't worry about selling your beats right now, if they're hot that time will come. you can't sell something people don't know about. you have to create a demand for yourself first.

i dont really care about selling anything i was just curious to see what other people got.liek you said it takes time .

its funny i have never thought of my beats as a comodity- or a product. The only artists i do stuff with are friends, and friends of friends who's music i respect. I think im too much of a control freak to let any of my stuff go to another artist.

anyway im rambling....

nah i sold a few beats before for bullshit money. its just a hassle though. I got shit going the way i want it now, without having to sell shit to crab emcees.

i've sold like 10 beats. Times get hard. I started off kinda cheap like 75 dollars. But now i can get 500 sometimes. It just all depends. I sold my first beat off Soundclick.

This is how I feel. The only problem is that my closest peeps aren't really into making music, so all that leaves me with is a city of strangers.
