ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO MAKE MONEY WIT BEATS?

Whats up wit it, Dis dat boi 2Much. I know these questions have prolly been asked before but I'm just tryna find out how to sale beats to big labels and how to promote beats I make. Don't get me wrong I have made $80 here and $100 there. How can a producer make bread consitently? Is it smart to be a labels in house producer or do it independently? And is there any money to be made being a Studio Engineer? Sorry for all the questions but can someone help me out wit some info?

if you wanna make money, make dance, techno,pop,....beatmaking is not a good idea for making money.....it's a broke ass art

Move to a major music city and network. People who are in places that can help you need to know you are good people before they direct you to money (ie. you need to become friends or associates before they trust you). These can take a least one to three years...

I'm tryna help put Dallas, TX on tha map. I'm gettin' tired of ****** movin' to ATL for a week and gettin' a deal and not remeberin' where they really from. But I understand what u say though man.

There's $$$ in all types of music..Especially if you have alot of songs stacked up..One song could pay you forever. Everyone will get a time to shine, but you have to keep yourself hott and not get caught up in $$$, women, drugs, etc. Stay focused like a nerd

man listen texas and anywhere in the south is a gold mine. Hit up all those independent record labels and showcase your talent to them. If u hot they gonna keep buying beats from u. keep prices low like i sell for 300 dollars a beat, the trick is that they dont get any rights to it so u can sell the same track over and over. Like renting out beats. thats what i do.

I use that method because i know about half these artists aint gonna make it to the radio. If u messin wit major labels which I dont yet, obviously u cant use this method. I cant ellaborate on publishing and royalties and stuff cause i never got that deep into selling tracks. i just use it like a hustle.

On the real, it's not that easy here. There is more exposure and more networking, but ATL has a Family Click type thing going down and if you are not in it or know someone; it would be just like Dallas. What Doc said is one of the truest things, attitude, perseverance, and attitude yes I said it twice.... because it's very important. I have seen some very talented ppl get looked over because of it, when I use to see Lil Jon back in the day grinding and hustling he was always humble and gave to all of his fans. These were the days wayyy before he was Mr. Okay, I remember one night when Cash$ had just got signed and he was in another VIP area other than ours and of course they had ALL the shine and he didn't even have a bad attitude about it. It's all in how you carry yourself and ppl watch you closely, ppl are not just going to INVITE you into something that is very lucrative..... building relationships is the key, whilst honing your skills in the meantime. Be ready for Criticisim, if you can't take it, this is the wrong business....

It won't happen fast, the schit you read are all PR skits and lies...
