Yeah, but if you obtain copyrights to your beats prior to the vocal recording process, don't you have leverage for legal action?? I know somebody that successfully took legal action when one of his copyrighted beats was used w/o permission. I do know however, what you are sayin though, once your instras end up in too many hands good luck stoppin that bullsh*t.

Just reminded me of some chick I know that was trying to rap but just didn't have it together. She was tryin to record over 2-tracks she got from her boyfriend (a skilled MC). Dude had got the beats from a pretty serious producer. That's what you gotta watch out for cats handin out your beats to other jokers like its all fun and games and sh*t....
