I'm currently working on a small business selling samples, loops, and beats. If I create sounds with a synthesizer and make multisample programs for MPCs, do I have the legal rights to sell them? I'm curious if there is any kind of legal issues with that.

I dont know for sure, but I dont see why it would be a problem considering you could use preset sounds on an album AND most people who make sample CD's just sample sounds they made off of other sound modules anyway and sell them.

Your only liability may be using a trademark name like "Motif" without express permission from Yamaha. You can certianly add a disclaimer like many of the amp modeling operations manuals use....Check the Line 6 site for a downloadable manual and emulate thier disclaimer....
