Waddup ya'll!? simple question.

Before calling different talent agencies and managers, what should i have prepared?

What should i expect to be questioned on?

cds?
press kits?
promos?
BMI or ASCAP registration?

I think having a talent manager shopping my beats is alot more successful than shopping around different indie labels. But if i do both then that would be great! I need a talent manager to handle that for me...

what are you suggestions? experience? and advice?

Thanks! Continued Success!

Agencys typically book you into different venues for a percentage.... they usually require a demo, video if you have it, and photo's at a minimum. You can also include a press kit, discography, and a tour history if you have it. When I was on the road, I refused to sign an exclusive and had several agents competing for bookings. It's a good tip to drive up the price, but you may find yourself booked in NYC one night and GA the next....
