Do u think producers take the change..

We all know if u chop a sample up enough u can make it unregnizable. Do u think producers try an sample and chop enough to make it unrecgonizable and take the change of getting away with it.

id say yes, lots of fools have taken the chanCe, a few regretted it, but the odds are on our side IMO...

depends on the sample. if it's clean enough (single instrument), treat it like a drumbreak. chop the hell out of it and patch it together with record noise bandaid and blur.

if it's busy, just jack the loop if you need it that badly.

i've been doing more loop samplign these days because a couple people told me i should practice it. it's cool, but i still prefer chopping, repitching and recombining.

To me chopping is to make a sample sound crazy and original not to hide it. If I was on a major I would only clear loops or samples with multiple sounds because wen I chop I only use wat I need not all the pieces. I would not clear a solo piece e.g piano, bass, guiter......or break unless I straight jacked it and looped it.
