Hello... Recently thru another Production Forum I go to, I have been offered a "Deal" to Ghostwrite for a new Artist.
The connect who is the in-house Producer seem's legit, but it's impossible to tell.
I have been contacting him Via E-Mail getting more info.
Now this is my goals with this Project...
Get $$$, and as much of it as I can.
Get Credit in the booklet as a writer.
and pretty much just not get jerked in any way...
Now what do I need to do this?
I attracted his attn, because I did a freestyle on the forum, and I am a really dope lyricsyst, I had this one part...

Now, Im gonna have to dumb down my lyrics like crazy, cause the dude is looking for lyrics like Lil Wayne, or Yung Joc, but that's cool, I can pull stuff like that outta my a$$, and also the dude said other Rapper's that are gonna be on the tracks (Im not ghostwriting for them) Will be dudes like E-40, Lil Jon, Kurupt, you know, the big leagues, he said he would give me a cut of the album sales, but im wondering do Ghostwriters usually get payed royalty's, or money up front? I would like both, just in case the LP is a flop.
But I have some question's, should I request a contract, and have him, and me sign it if it's right to ensure I get what I want, and when I ghostwrite, should I provide the verses, an the service THAN collect the money, or the other way around...
I just need some guidence so I don't get
