Music Industry Contact Books Actually Legit?

Are most of these online music industry contact books, actually have legit contacts in them. Heres a book im thinking about buying:

I've got the 2005 version and everything is legit from what I have seen!!!!

Man you're just wasting time and money with this. Most of these directories contain all of the important labels and contacts in the biz. But what you DON'T know, is that the contacts usually only consist of those companies' top executives and Senior A&Rs.
Example:

Bad Boy Records
1710 Broadway New York, NY 10019

Sean Combs- CEO
212-555-1212

Harve Pierre- President
212-555-1234

THESE DUDES' ASSISTANTS WILL NEVER LET U TALK TO THEM!!!!
They're at the level where they don't even LISTEN to tracks anymore!

You've spent your hard-earned $$$ for this directory when you can google info for free. Might take some time, but anything gained in life usually does.
