How should I appraoch a producer manager(for instance if im messaging him/her on myspace etc..)how should I word myself to try and get a mangement deal by him/her??

Depending on if the manager is a known one or not. I would suggest if it's a more well known manager and has an address available to send a "press kit"(beat cd(around 3 to 5), picture, and bio).

you could try the press kit route...but generally the best way to get a manager is have them approach you. you do this by building your own buzz of course, just like anything else.

In a lotta cases, if you're "that dude" management will be approaching you.

But to specifically answr your question, be as professional and ready to present your music as possible.

With managers the rule of thumb always applies:

An established manager will manage you -if- they believe that your talent can make them money.
