im going to put a beat cd up on the internet and i was thinking that how can i "watermark" my beats so no one can steal my beats and claim them as theirs ?

i remeber some one talking about it while back but i forgot what he said about it...

any help would be appreciated !

Essentially you put a tradmark sound like your dog barking or you laughing or saying your name or something every 3 bars or so. That way no one can sample a 4 bar segment of your stuff. I've heard it done and it essentially makes the tune unlistenable......why not just pay the $20 and get a copyright?
