Amazing when i listen to music nowadays.
20 years of rehashed crap. Progressively getting worse and worse.
And then you get these retards who will come and say, Oh your out of date etc.
No i say they are fuking out of date. They are just doing parody.
Over here we have this new song on the radio.
Called in the 80's. Doesn't sound like 80's tho. Sounds like some moron , who knew someone who would put that shit on the radio for him.
And anyway the 80's were awesome. Name one decent style that came out in the 90s or 2000+.
Nothing, just a bunch of cool people trying to refine some one else ideas.
What i really find amazing now tho.
There is a sound that has emerged. Really year 2000 has a sound at last.
It sounds like retards that never listened to roots music, who never learned
to play to any level. They have managed to carve a sound.
And as for hip hop.
I would never dream of listening to anything pass 1992.
I mean to be honest i don't really listen to any electronic music.
I probably listen to what the original guys that made hip hop would have listened to.
I mean in my day electronic music, was like for retards. Hence why i do it.
And hey i have to say its a poor show coz i am better then any of you guys.
But in no way have i ever considered myself a muscian. In fact really now, I wish i would have taken up guitar then all this sampling shit.
Nah.. I still enjoy the creative process. And guitar is the same anyway.
Now i think i am coming to understand how a good guitar player feels watching an indie band.
When i got into it there were not so many people doing it. And the level was a lot higher.
Now oddly if you are good it probably works against you. Its all about getting the Neptunes sound, or what ever style of crap is flavour of the month.
And i tell you. I am trying to get my music to sound like grover washington JR or die trying.
I don't really see the point of trying to do something that is not hard. Much less i don't get the point of listening to some one else that cant do it either.
Its odd as now its all about being safe.
Music was never meant to made by all the to cool for school people.
It was the recluse of the odd balls and weirdos and regular normal people.
Only singers were cool.
