Making a website is hard work.

For a web site like the one we are in you would have to know, html, css, php and javascript.

And i would say that for me the easy part is coding. Getting a design right is hard work. Leaning how to use photoshop is not so hard but design and design concepts are.

And don't think you can knock together some cheesy site and clean up. Not going to happen. Ask yourself how long you would waste on a badly constructed page.

Also how much would you feel like making fiscal transactions on a doggy looking site.

But to be honest your best bet would be to download Nvu which can spin pages.

make a design on that and find out how to bolt on a paypal cart.

PhP coding is a nightmare. In general writing sever side scripts is a bit fruity.

Basically the easiest way is to go out and buy a few books.

If not go and put your samples on ebay and join the billion and 1 other people trying to resell the presets that came with their keyboard.
