There are several "licensing" agencies that take a healthy percentage to send your music to people. Is your stuff ORIGINAL as in sample free? Or are the samples so twisted or shredded up that your sure no one will know who you got them from?
MTV does alot of "blanket" liceneses whereby you get ZERO up front and only airplay royalties (BMI) (ASCAP)
Its pretty tough to get your stuff heard by these people.
Do you know anyone in the media biz?
Always better if one of those people REFERS your tunes to these agencies
Also there are places like BMI SONIC BIDS that can help bu beware as they usually charge for submissions
