how should go about doing this?should i mail a contract to the artist to get signed?

Not very detailed,but I'll give the basics of what I do. ALWAYS get the full payment first. I make sure I put all sales final,no refunds on my page. Cause on occasion some people want to screw you and after you send the beat want a refund,but you have no way of knowing if they jacked it. I accept payments through paypal, check(allow 5-7 days to clear BEFORE sending anything), and western union. After I get the payment I send the person 2 contracts which they sign and send back. After I get them back I sign both and keep one for record. I send him a cd(through yousend it or the mail their choice) with the beat and his copy of the contract(through the mail). I always include shipping in their total beat price,but only counting the actual cd sending.
