I have bought stuff directly from them and they ship out from City Of Industry in LA County so if you in Cali your gonna get your stuff fast. I know this dude who is a sales rep. I dont know him personally (just through emails) but dude is real helpful and gave me a great price on the RAM. I try and stay in contact with a dude like that cuz he seems like a good connect. hahaha He sold me the Akai RAM for $50 but I had to pay $10 shipping...

I was in hopes of getting BLACK buttons. Maybe if we get the parts list for the MPC 5000 and the parts list for the MPC 4000.

i didnt see anything about the black pads??

they were never intended for the standard 2500, just the le version.

but the 2kxl black pads can be used.

yeah im looking for some black pads for my le version and i want my rec and overdub buttons to be black like tha rest of my buttons

I need the rear panel and I did not see it on the list, if anyone buy chance wants to sell there's let me know.
I have the 2500le and bought the black face, but the back panel is still white I would like to make it all black.

Alright I got you... The dude I email is a sales rep but the "Inside Parts Rep" is actaully a lady.

You would have to get the part number from here first before you make a purchase.

They only reason why I got in contact with the sales rep in the first place was because I had a question about RAM and I emailed the wrong SECTION and got into conversation with dude about MPC's and how he got his job in such and dude hooked me up unless thats just a normal price for them.

The black pads are on this list. Maybe you can contact the sales rep with the part number and ask for a price it could possibly end up cheaper then buying from VST or MPCstuff.

Hit us with that MPC 5000 list once you get it Narc.

any idea how long it takes them to respond? i am highly in need of a right side PCB board for my MPC 2500.


oh and thank you explicit! i am praying that you are a lifesaver because damn MPCstuff is out and vst doesnt carry the pcb board or the damn rotary encoder.

Im not really sure dude... It depends honestly.

If I was you I would just get the part number and description of the part on the list I put up and email the Sales Rep department and see what they can do. They should do exactly what they did for me and just email you a form "sort of like a receipt and just fill it out and fax it over and receive your part.

yea thats the switch i need but i was actually thinking of just buying the whole damn PCB board. since last time i bought the encoder it didnt work.

i actually went to akaipro.com and filled out one of those forms and picked the parts department to send it to. hopefully ill hear back today.

buying the whole PCB board is easier than buying just the encoder itself and desoldering then re soldering since all you have to do is unhook the 5 switches and unscrew the board then put the new board on and hook the switches back up. the PCB boards should already have the encoder installed on them.
