Issue with drum pads

Hey all, I'm having an issue with my drum pads. When I boot up my MPC, when I push one of my drum pads it now plays all the sounds on the program at once. Its as if a single pad push is registering all the pads at the same time. This issue sometimes auto-corrects itself but for the most part I have to keep turning my MPC on and off and messing with reflashing it in an attempt to get it running normal. Has anybody experienced this issue before or know how to fix this?

I am encountering a comparable problem, it may sound familiar to you.
Since recently, I am messing with a MPC 2500, but today the following problem occured:

If I hit a pad my MPC is somehow routing it to a different one, for instance:
In "program mode" I hit PAD A1 and I see the MPC saying it is PAD A15, I press PAD A1 again and suddenly it is saying this is pad A4... and so on.... somehow it is never pad A1, which I am certainly pushing!!

I just can not comprehend since I am new at this... who can help me out?
