MPC FREEZES WHEN MEMORY CARD IS INSERTED

i dont know what the problem is! ive tried turning it on with the memory card in but it freezes at the very beginning.
when i insert it and go to the LOAD pad, it freezes..i dont know, someone please help.

what's the size of the memory card? The max capacity is 2 gb, if your using a card thats larger than this that may be your problem.

first, check the pins in the MPC, make sure none are bent
