Whats good everybody? So ive been searching for the last week or so all over the internet to solve my problem and I haven't found anything quite like my problem. I may be just looking over something really obvious but I havent seen anything. So here goes
I am trying to sync up my mpc 2500 to my Digi003 using Protools 8. I have a macbook pro if that matters. I am also using a Roland Jx-3p. Right now I have my 8 outs of my mpc going directly into the digi 003, and the jx3p going into my aux inputs. I have Protools settup as the master. The midi is working fine. Its the mpc thats buggin. In order for me to get any sound or signal out of the mpc is to go into the MIXER and change the L/Outs to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 for my pads. I have to do this for every single program. It changes automatically when i go back to it. I just don't understand why? My other problem is, once I change a couple of the outputs to make a beat i have to switch the aux in off on the digi 003 so i can hear it, which also cancels out my Jx3p from playing. If anyone can help me, it would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

It's good that you have to assign them or else it would be chaos.
