problems with currupt files

Whats up everybody hopefully some one can help me out. I recently chopped up like 200 breaks into individual drum sounds and then i saved them into 3 seperate folders with all the samples program files in them. I saved it to my memory card (Lexar Platnium II 2g card) that went down it they were working. but then when i recorded a sample and tried to save it it just frozen on the screen when your changing the name of the folder you wanna save it too (I called it BOB). so i had to shut down the mpc... losing all the samples i just chopped. then i went on the computer and checked out my memory card and it had saved the folder BOB but there was nothing in it and it said currupt file and i couldnt delete it so i took all other 3 folders of drums off my card and formatted it and it created another currupt folder again after trying to save my samples that i had to resample. any one know whats going on any help would greatly be appreciated. much love.

i was thinking maybe i put to many files into 1 folder does anyone know how much space u can store on a 1 project file?

The file system implementation on the 2500 is very buggy. I guess the root of your problems is that you tried to rename a folder. Avoid that at any cost. Make a new folder with the new name, and save your stuff in there.
