what did i do wrong...

i got my 2500 a few weeks ago. And ive been saving 'entire memory' to the Autoload folder each time i need to turn mpc off. and then it auto loads when i start up. Im not sure if this is the best way? any suggestions appreciated...

Anyway..i saved 'entire mem' to autoload last night, and when i re strat the mpc only a few sounds remained, most of the sounds dont work but they are still listed in the mem..but with a '?' before the name...eg ?Kick1 ?Snare2.

I just wanted to know why this happened and what is the best method for saving on the mpc in the future...

you didnt rename any of the sounds AFTER saving the entire memory did you? and then saved again before RE ASSIGNING THE RENAMED SOUNDS?

also you can choose what folder autoloads instead of the stuff that is in the internal flash
