Play Sample Loop without holding pad?

Hey everyone, i have a sample that I have trimmed into a loop, and i would like to have it play without holding the pad? I had heard that holding shift+loop pad would work, but it doesnt seem to. I have a 2500. Anyone know the solution to this? Thanks in advance for your help, chris

I've asked about this on the 500, 1000 and 2500.

It does work - I believe on the 2500, what you need to do is hit the sample pad and the 'track mute' button at the same time...
