Hey guys, I just snagged up a new mpc2500 from guitar center today for $960(floor model). I'm still learning, and it's a process, but I'm wondering why on my monitor headphones that only the left ear works? Is there a way to change this? I messed with all of the pan options in the mixer. Thanks!

I tried a couple of pairs....The ones I am using are my audio technica m50s i got two days ago. Oh well, at least it's under warranty, thanks! I might call akai first.

Damn. I bought it yesterday about an hour and a half away, and am moving out of the state tomorrow. Looks like I'm all out of options except to call Akai.

Do they take forever? I might have to leave it behind and let my moms take it back for me, or figure something out. By the way, thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

Call the store and see if you can make arrangments. Usually warranty claims will leave you stuck waiting around for an answer, you might be able to walk out with a brand new unit for the price you paid for the floor model. I recently bought JBL monitors off the floor for a pretty low price because they were scratched up. I got home and called them explaining that one didnt work and a wire was missing. They got me a fresh pair from JBL direct and I paid nothing extra. saved almost $500 on that deal

Will do. That would be nice to get a brand spankin' new mpc for $960 bucks haha. Maybe I can work something out with them. I'm pretty sure the audio is jacked up now 100% because I was doing a beat, and when I turned it on this time I had full audio in both ears, then I nudged the input jack or something and it went to the right ear only lol.

Open it up, resolder the joints.

2 weeks as of about a month ago when i called and thats not counting shipping.
although they match your shipping method, so if you ship it to them overnight they ship it back the same way.
but expect to be without for at least 2-3 weeks.. if everything goes as planned at akai.

who's to say they wont pull a kick door and be like.. well this is not covered under warranty due to negligence..
I mean it was a floor display used by a bunch of people that had no respect for it mostly.
if it looks beat up at all(like the one at my local GC in ATL did.. alot) then i wouldnt be surprised.

anyway.. good luck.. Im in a similar predicament.
