Mpc 2500 Sample Rate

Does Anyone know if or how you can change the sample rate on the mpc 2500? ive got a korg micro x and im trying to record via analogue into my mpc but the sample rate on the korg is 48khz and the mpc is 44.1khz. Any help would be appreciated..

You cant do that. 44100khz is is the 2500 max.
It makes no diference if the sound coming into the analog INS of MP is bigger in terms of sample rate, the conversor in the machine will convert it to 44100khz.

Ok Thanks for that i didnt realise the mpc would convert it. I am getting some noise through my inputs though and i thought this could of been the problem.

It's 44.1Khz or 44100hz

ARIGHT for the record there is NO CONVERSION happening when using ANALOG, lol. Analog audio signal doesn't have a sample rate.

Now if you're using the digital input on an MPC, a digital source that puts out 48khz will cause issues. Most of the time you end up with a sample where the pitch is not correct. It's pretty interesting.

Make shure the level of the korg micro is at max, just before distorting, and do the same on the MPC Ins this should lower the noise..
