2500 noob!

I know this may sound weak, but i just got my mpc a few days ago and going through the manual is a pain in the A$$, i found a few video's on individual topics on youtube, and i found these tutorial but you have to pay 40 $$ which...i would rather invest in buying ram. so my question is does anyone know of any good place for leaning how to operate the beast which is the mpc 2500?? Any help would be appreciated.
Also what is the best solution for buying cables i have tons of rca cables around, but no 1/4 inches, should i get the 1/4 to rca adapters or will that not be as good as buying good quality 1/4 inch cables.
LOL another question, is anyone using a sound card to take the sounds from the mpc into the computer as individual tracks (thought the 8 out), if so what sound card are you using, or what would you recommend?

save the rest of your money.. and the only thing you need to spend is some TIME actually reading the manual and TRYING out the machine.

Its really quite simple.
Google and Youtube are the best tools to find the knowledge you seek as well.

If you know anyone that has an MPC, have them show you a few things. The fastest way to learn the basics is with some assistance, but if you don't have anyone to show you, Youtube is just a click away.
