Post your views and questions about the Akai MPC2500

Okay. I have my M-Audio Oxygen 61 going into my MPC2500 in which I'm route that MIDI data out to my Mo' Phatt. My issue is, the 2500 is either not receiving the MIDI data from the Oxygen or it picks up random note extremely late, 10-15 seconds. But I also have a 2000XL in which the same setup work perfectly; picks up the incoming data from the Oxygen and passes it off to the Mo' Phatt with no problems, no delays. Now, an even weirder problem is that I also have a EMU Xboard 25, which works perfectly with the 2500 in the setup.

I'm thinking that this is a problem with some kind of setting on the 2500 since it works both with the 2000XL and directly connected to the Mo' Phatt. Can anyone give me any suggestion as to what the problem is? Thanks to anyone who can help.

It looks like no one has any idea on what the problem may be. But I also just tried the exact same setup with a 1000 and it works fine (so that's a 2500, 2000XL, and 1000; and the only one that doesn't work is the 2500). Still looking for suggestions if anyone has any.

My homeboy had that problem, or still do with his MPK32 and fruity loops, he said he belived that it was the buffer setting, but i dont believe that applies to your setup, or maybe it does? Im new to the akai world kinda sorta but its something to think about.
