Can someone tell me if I can sample mp3s on the mpc 2500? I am interesting if getting one to compliment my logic 8, but I wanna know if I can sample my mp3s into it. I don't have a large collection of vinyl but I do have thousands of mp3s.... please let me know.

Sampling is audio, audio can be sampled into an mpc yes.
or convert your mp3's to 44khz/16bit pcm wav, and you can transfer them via usb to the mpc 2500.

Download the manual and read it, know what your spending your money on beforehand.

This is a blatent non-thought-out-question.
You are asking if your sampler can sample! Think about it for a second...

The mpc has analogue audio in's for sampling into.
It also has a digital in for sampling into.
An mp3 can be played as audio.
The mpc can sample sounds that you plug into it.
Play ur mp3 into either the analogue audio in or digital in and sample it.

Instead of sampling sounds into the mpc, you can also convert ur mp3 into a 44.1kHz 16bit wav file and import it onto a CF card (to be used in the mpc) or the hard drive on the mpc.

aye carumba
