Resetting MPC Back to Default Settings

IS there a way to reset the MPC 2500 back to default or factory settings? I deleted my effects and my Q-Link sliders dont seem to be working...If someone could get back to me on this issue, it would be appreciated

What do u mean by deleting the FX? U lost the settings/params? Or u just can't apply them because the menu is gone?
If the q-links don't work anymore it probably hasn't got to do anything with the OS settings.

If ur sure it has something to do with ur OS try to reinstall it. There is a way to go to default. U have to press a combination of the transport buttons when booting up. Can't remember exactly which buttons, but I guess u can look it up somewhere in the manual. If ur running JJOS I would check the JJOS manual.

Thanks Menco...I appreciate that information, I lost all my FX I dont have any FX you know like the illhiphop effect? and so forth? How do I reinstall the OS? Im going to try looking in the manual to see if the information is mentioned, I couldnt find it

Oooohh, u mean the sounds stored on ur CF card? Once u deleted them they are gone. Maybe somebody can upload them. I don't have them anymore otherwise I would sendspace them.

No not the sounds on my CF card, Im talking about the actual effects like IllHipHop and the other ones when you press mode - Effect Pad whatever, you know what I mean? Damn, I guess Im just assed out, alright, since my effects are gone, how do I save the new ones? Do I have to save the whole memory?

Ill hiphop is one of the stock sounds programs.
In the mode-> effect menu u have the 'basic' fx for each bus(reverb, delay, compression and stuff)
They are just part of the OS, like the filters in program mode. They're not supposed to disappear. If so, u have a serious deffect. I think it's best trying to reinstall the OS. When u reinstall the OS it will be installed with the default settings.

If u want to save the FX parameters and settings u have to save it as an all songs& Seq file.
