Hi there, I've been making beats for around a yr, using a DAW and MIDI hardware (MPD24 and Oxygen 49 keyboard), and feel that I'm now ready to get into the MPC series. I'm leaning towards the 2500 and just have a couple of questions for those who have experience of working with it.
My first question is can I import synth sounds into the 2500 and assign them onto pads, so I dont have to use a keyboard and/or my PC to create an entire original beat? To go into more detail, for example can I import sounds from plugins such as Hypersonic from my PC into the 2500? I apologize if that seems like a stupid question, but as pointed out I'm new to the MPC series.
I know its possible to connect a keyboard to the 2500 via MIDI. The thing is I currently only have a MIDI keyboard that contains no built in sound, so I can only play those that are coming from the DAW I'm using. So with this being said, is it possible to play synth sounds I have saved on the MPC 2500 on my keyboard, via a MIDI connection?
Many thanks for any help
