Reinstalling the preinstalled sounds....

Hi everyone I got my MPC 2500 in the post just now, and the guy who I bought it off told me that he switched off the automatic upload of preinstalled mpc sounds as it took up memory and he never used them. But he said that its pretty easy to get them all back on. It just came with the power chord and the CF card.

the preinstalled sounds were utter crud, mate. i'm not the best person to ask but i'm sure the people here will help you find all the sounds you need (and not those lame ones the mpc2500 came with). i can assure you i haven't used a single one in anything i have made so far.

Haha OK mate no problem, I installed the free JJ OS anyway and it gave me a few packs to play around with. I'm just using my headphones with it at the moment for sound, do you recommend any particular hardware for my Stereo Out? Unfortunately the speakers I use for my PC arent compatible (theyre complicated lol) so I'm lookin at buying some new ones just for the MPC

i've been using headphones since day one, i find i can hear things better that way. but bass and stuff will need to be heard through decent speakers so i'm looking into getting some speakers myself, actually.

anyone help us with that?
