MIDI Sync and tracking to Pro Tools

Im having problems tracking out my MPC sequences to Pro Tools. I can get the MIDI Sync and transport controls to work fine. When i go to record the 16 channels in at a time, im getting every channel recorded on each track in Pro Tools. I set the tracks on the MPC to go out each MIDI channel, then i get some wierd noise, and they send out on all channels. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix?

If anyone has any info to help i would appreciate it. I have tried to cantact akai, and they will never get back to me.

I don't know but I thought I might ask a few questions to get the ball rolling.

I thought there are only 8 line outs on the MPC 2500 how are you getting 16 channels of recording?

What does the noise sound like? Is it ground hum, or aliasing, or occasional clicking or?

Oh boy!

So i am trying to track out the MIDI, all 16 channels at a time. I set the MIDI outputs accordingly to each of the 16 channels. Then, when i record this MIDI into Pro Tools, i get some loud noise, its kinda like a loud buzz, with static. I think i might be getting a MIDI feedback loop, but not sure how or why. I do this same thing with my Roland Fantom, Motif and Korg M3 and never have had this problem. I would appreciate any help i can get. I cant get any help form Akai, they wont even respond and have no tech line to call.

16 channels of what? Audio? Midi notes? Are your using a synth? What exactly are you trying to do? There isn't enough info to help you out!

16 channels of sequenced material on my MPC, using samples in my MPC hardrive. Im syncing it as slave into Pro tools, so i can record 16 of the MPC tracks of MIDI at a time, into pro tools. Then inside pro tools i record them into audio while running through some analog gear. The only problem is the MIDI output of the MPC, i just cant seem to find why, or if maybe mine is defective.
