Hello all, I am new to the forum having just bought a MPC 2500, great place so ill be reading lots on here.
I am experienced in using software for production and I have recently added the MPC to my home set up, at this stage I think I will mostly use to construct beats (trying to get some different sounds and give them more of a human touch), loops and manipulate samples and feed into my pc as parts, although this may change over time.
Literally only been working with it for one week having spent the previous week reading the manual over and over, and over. I am at the stage where I have got some kick, snare and other simple sounds that I have assigned to pads just to get a feel for loading samples from my pc to the mpc, assigning to pads and how the pads work.
Not looking for help on any particular subject as I am looking forward to learning everything by myself and working things out, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or comments on the best order to learn the functions of the MPC, or any comments about what worked best for you when you first got the MPC. I have never used anything like the MPC before so would definately be interested to hear of your experiences.
