Once again the never ending question about the sync of the mpc and reason rises again. Straight to the point...
i have a mpc2500 with the jjos 3.09
and i have reason 4.0
i want to play my pads using redrum on reason using a midi cable.
I dont know if i need an audio interface because i have my reason on a laptop and im using a midi to usb cable...
so i have configured my mpc2500 with:
midi in on 1
and the midi out on A(MASTER) mode: midiclock and send mmc: on
on my sequence i have the type : MIDI and the MIDI on channel 1a and i'm using bank A
on reason i have on the advanced control the bus a has the midi usb and the midi sync clock as usb midi as well
on the advanced midi device i have the bus a select has also the usb midi and on the channel 1 i have a redrum.
I've tried to make my mpc has a control surface but no luck there is no dected movement by reason between my mpc.
So my question relies here:
how do i make my mpc has a control surface so that i can play the pads and it plays the assigned drums on reason.
I've searched every post in this forum but all of them they don't have this issue and also most of them are using other midi hardware. I appreciate your concern and i hope your replies help me solve this simple but annoying problem....
PEACE
