Quick ? about Chopping

Wuzup guys. im new to working on da 2500 and i got a ?. Im trying to firgure out how to place a beat that i recorded into the sequencer, into trim mode. ive read da 2500 owner manual and the tutrial from da website but it dosent say how to actually load da beat into trim mode. I want to be abel for example chop maybe 4 or 5 snares out of a long 16/3 note roll and place the amount of hits i chop onto pads so i can save them to use in da future. Can sum 1 explain how dats done.

Do not call a sample a beat, you'll only confuse yourself further.

Plenty of info about chopping samples can also be found in these forums, just look/ search harder.

Anyhow...dude needs to invest a little time in himself. If he knows he needs to be in trim mode than he's half way there.
