Met recorded on track?

I recently recorded a piece off my MO6 directly into my 2500, I have the outputs of the MO6 going into a mixer. The outputs of the MPC are also on the mixer and the "control room" outputs on the mixer are what is going into the "record in" on the MPC. I turned monitoring off, and went to track 61 to record the keyboard part. When i played it back though, you could hear the metronome had been recorded too. Should i be doing this a different way? Im usin JJ OS 3.10 if that helps any.

which mixer is it?
u need your mpc not routed back into it's record in.
