Help with Delay

I'm currently using the free JJOS but no matter how much i play with the delay effect (and such was the same when i was on akai os) it doesn't seem to do anything to the pads i assign it to.

am i doing something wrong?

is there alternative equipment i could use to use a delay on my samples, as it is unproductive to keep giving samples to my engineer to assign this effect!

Are you turning up the send level of the pad in the mixer window (the window where you assign a pad to an effect bus)?

i'll have to get back to you on that. all i know is my delay does work, i got it working the other day when i switched from an effect i was using to delay by accident... i played around with it for a bit but need to try and get it working the 'normal' way either over the weekend or monday, as the weather is crazy here i may be stuck in a different town :S

i highly recommend downloading a 'delay calculator' app. i got one for my macs, works a treat. should easily find one thru google
