well the mpc I want to put on a stand sort of thing is the 60ii... that is not a bad idea, I wonder if I would be able to find one without needing to order it online and have it shipped.

i love all those pieces of gear and i'm glad i got them all. use whatever suits my mood that day.

p.s. i am not one of those collector guys that just lets them sit. i can and will get busy on all of them. i def use my gear.

I too make beats on whatever gear I feel like, but when it comes to making albums I like to choose one piece so the sound can stay consistent through out. But yeah my arsenal is:

MV-8800
MPC 500
ESX-1
Roland MS-1

that is not a terrible price at all... if it is mint. what does it come with? (cf reader, 8-outs, eb16, ram upgrade, etc..)

Mainly the screen though, make sure the screen is crisp and not a single missing pixel or else knock off 150 from the price.

thats not a bad price if it is mint.

def make sure the screen has no lines. then make sure it has the 32mb maxed memory. then check the jog wheel and make sure it aint loose. then check if it has the 8 outs. also does it have a floppy, zip or cf drive?

What is the maximum size of the hard disk i can put into it and internally format with MPC?

I am reporting that Lexar 4GB CF card work flawlessly with MPC 2500SE with Akai OS 1.24
