Happy new year guys!

The MPC looks in pristine conditions, makes me drool. Maxed up as it is don't let that go for less than 400. Post all the close pics needed to show the item and be sure you'll get the dough. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<do the same with the 500, don't ask less than 300.

Ebay is the way to go. You'll shop the 2500 at the same time that you'll let the other two go.

I know you can do that, please don't make me regret not having scammed you... ;-)

just out of curiosity... how much would shipping an MPC1000 from Denmark to the USA cost anyway? seems like it would be a lot...

Now that you mentioned it, I got a little curious myself. Turns out the UPS website wouldn't even give me a quote
If you can get 300+ for your 500 then you're doing well. I would say accept no less than 200 for it. The reality is the re-sale value on the 500 sucks.
450 for the 1000 is a fair price but you already dumped a bunch of money on repairs and upgrades. I would try to hold out for more but at least the 450 minimum is reassuring. Good luck man.
Edit: I'm speaking in U.S. Dollar prices.

You're making Denmark sound like a 3rd world country!

Try advertising them in the local paper as well as online if you can.

about $78. There is a monopoly in the danish post service which means that i can't use UPS unless i have a firm. :-(

that price isn't too bad... either way, i would never use UPS outside of the USA... they're expensive enough as-is within the country... their fees would start getting into the hundreds if you were to try and ship something like an MPC that far...

ok... let me break it down for the sake of my enlightenment:

Your MPC1000 works great. Max Ram, new pads (the fix kit, which render your pads as smooth as the older mpc's ones).

You got all the jjos upgrades done up to 2XL.

You also got a new five-hunno (which I haven't used yet but rocks as far as I've listen/seen).

Why you would want a MPC2500(I got that, and coming from a 1K... it's the very same thing workflow and sound-wise) still I don't get it. I did the swap because my pads were old, faulty and not upgraded...

Do you need HDD support? The adapter runs for 15 EURO, a 80 giga drive maybe less...

Do you need bigger pads? Buy yourself and mpd and hook it to your MPC1000.

2 separated outs, 4 midi ports and 2 q-links are not worth YOUR MPC500. REALLY NOT.

Peace

Well, first i got the mpc-500 which was a cool unit, so i wanted to upgrade and bought the mpc-1000. Now i dont use the 500 more, and it is just standing over in the corner looking at me. So my thought where that i, with these two machines, could upgrade to a mpc-2500 and have 10 audio outs, 64 miditracks, 4 Q-links...... Well you get the point. A maxed out mpc-2500 with JJOS (important) is where i want to go from here.

Maybe i am crazy, i dunno..

It's the gear lust man. If we could see your eyes your pupils would hold a reflection of a 2500 outlined in flames.
But nah man, for real, you're reasons for upgrading are valid. Those 4 extra outs alone to me would be worth it when tracking out complex music. And once a 500 owner gets a 1000 it becomes useless unless they lead some kind of jet-set lifestyle. Go for what inspires you and makes you happy.

Not at all... The 2500 is a great upgrade from what you have if you've only ever had mini pads. With JJ installed you also get to use your numeric buttons to switch modes which is nice.
