wtf!! i know i cant be that drunk...whats goin on here???

please tell me i accidentally switched sumthin that would make my mpc do this...every time i press and hold the NOTE REPEAT button, WITHOUT ME TOUCHING ON ANY PAD OR ANYTHING ELSE, it plays a random note repeatedly...usually ill have to press hold the button and a specific pad for it to play that sound repeatedly, but now its on sum weirdo sh!t....what the h#ll is goins on here???

i know i aint that high!!!!!!!!!!! lol cause the same thing happened to me!!! how did u fix it?

Grab the outer corners of the pads and give them a tug. If that doesn't work, grab the corners of your pads and give them a good pushing.

i recently got my main volume rotary encoder fixed. i did take the mpc 2500 apart. Could i have not replace the pads perfectly (although they seem fine physically). Are u telling me that the pad place ment effects the note repeat button? when u tugged and pushed did u take apart the mpc?
