New to the MPC and yes I have reviewed the manual. Wierd thing happening. When I record a sample in "record mode" do I have to assign it to a pad? When I do, and I go back to the sequencer in main, the MPC assigns it to an existing drum program that I loaded, specifically on the pad that I loaded it on. So then I go into trim mode in an attempt to chop the sample and create it'sown program. Upon doing so, I create a new program and do it and all that. When I try to play it in the sequencer it's not there. Unless I assign it to a pad in which it saves itself to an existing program in which only the pad I selected is an option? frigging wierd. What am I doing wrong here?

Your MPC ate your samples for breakfast now it's hungry for more!!
Don't feed an MPC 1000 after midnight or it'll mutate into a 4000
