low sound coming out of my mpc (headphones0

at first I couldnt hear anything but i was told change mt -12db in global settings to 0db and i did its a bit louder but its still not as loud as i think it should be.. my volume nob is all the way up can someone help me?? im new to MPC's ive read the books and notting seems to help could my volume nob possible be broken or messedup would this sumden i would have to take the case off and look at?

okay so disregard that last message.. i figured out its my volume knob that it is janky and loose I think im not sure if its something needing to be re soldered.. but when ever i jig it a tad bit and hold it in a certain spot my volume is full and loud but if i let it go it goes back to low any suggestions should i open it up and check the knob to make sure its on or send it in?

I taped it in the spot where it works but I only hear sound out of the LEFT side is this the reason because the knobs probabley broken?

happened to my 2500 as well, had to get it fixed
didn't even have it that long either
you can tell they use kinda cheap parts for the machine
great piece of gear, but that's just how it seems as you have it over time

this is the problem... either do this, or find someone who's experienced
