I'm not able to use the samples I loaded from my PC(yet)

Iv'e tried loading some WAV files from my PC to my MPC via 4G cf card, they show up in the memory of the MPC, but I'm not able to use them, or even hear them. The MPC went through the receiving process as did my PC, I followed the manual so I assumed I was doing this correctly, not asking for the answer, but only to be steered in the right direction. 1

Last time i checked the 1k only can use a 2GB card, but i haven't used a cf in so long. I checked the Akaipro.com sight and it states the same thing

Im using a 2500 ARK, Akai says it can only use a 2GB as well, before I tried to attain the samples I formatted the card and made sure the WAV's were 16bit(I'm fiendin for some dark string samples and macbre shit). I guess until i try the 2GB card again and read about it for a few more hours I'm stuck with these wack internal bonus track sounds. I'm going to upgrade the hard drive eventually but not until I become proficient in the basics, this is my first piece of Akai equipment, Im using a korg TR61 and Ableton and I'm excited about throwing the MPC into the mix. I guess I will read the manual about 8 more times and maybe cop the bible before daring to ask anymore questions. 1

Although it seems that people are rude to newbs on this forum if you ask eduacated questions people don't mind, its not like you asking how to make beats or turn the MPC on. Are you use a pc or mac, make sure Windows isn't auto converting your samples above 44 khz sample rate, once my default was set higher which made nothing get read in the mpc and I had to go into the media settings and change back to 44.1 before i could get them to load in the mp

Haven't done this in awhile because I mostly use the MPC to design sounds that I sample from vinyl...I think when I did this I ran the samples thru Recycle and converted them to .wav files 16 bit 44.1 .. Either recycle or logic then dropped them into my MPC.
