Post your views and questions about the Akai MPC2500

yeah i bought it...payed 160.00 for labor and parts, kinda pricey but whats done is done.....

im waiting on the cf card reader thats on back order til may i believe.

im just messing with the thing and learning a few basics for some reason my mac wont recognize it but i will just have to deal with that problem in the future....
any ideas?

If it comes with hard drive and cd drive and maxed out ram...I would consider buying it for 4. Refurbishing a MPC 2500 is pretty economical and easy if you're technically proficient.

I haven't used my jog wheel for longer than I can remember. It might get spun once every six months, lol, but I shoot through things like lightening using - + and shift, and the numeric keys. That's JJOS for ya though.

i didn't realise the +/- buttons were so effective, in fact i haven't used them since upgrading to XL. when i used them on free OS i thought this method took far too long to get anywhere.
